Riley not dead???

Is the only-reason-to-watch-Twilight (aka Xavier Samuel) coming back for Breaking Dawn?
According to IMDb, it definitely looks that way. Xavier Samuel is listed in the cast for Breaking Dawn. For those of you who have seen Eclipse, you remember that Riley wasn't exactly killed...the scene just ended in a way which would make us believe that.
So is Riley still alive? Is Twilight going to hold on to the most talented actor in the film? Am I going to have to see Breaking Dawn because of this? Only time will tell.
However, if Riley is still alive and Xavier will be returning to American big screens...*sigh* I am one happy girl.

This post is dedicated to my friend who is so self-conscious about her body, she hasn't worn a swimming suit in 3 years.
You don't need to be a size 0 to look hot. Marilyn Monroe was the fantasy of many men and women. She wasn't stick thin. She just had that self-confidence that drove people wild.
Even though her stomach wasn't flat and her thighs touched (!!!!), she was very sensual.
So for all of you bodacious girls out there, don't be afraid to flaunt it. Live healthy (and that means going out to swim with us, bbz. Social health is very important). Don't be ashamed of your flaws. And remember that even us skinny girls are self conscious. You're not alone.

News of the Weird: Fat Model Demands Special Treatment

Okay, admittedly, she's not that fat (although I fail to see what people see in her; her poses are lame). Anyway, Crystal Renn was upset that her photos were retouched and she was made to look "thinner."
This irritates me. Yeah, I get that she was anorexic and she doesn't want to portray an unhealthy image for girls. But models get retouched all the time. Skin, hair, eyes, breasts, whatever. It's part of fashion photography. Always was and hopefully, always will be.
Art isn't about portraying the straight reality. It's about portraying something beautiful...something that makes people wonder.
Renn isn't a photographer. She's just a model. Her job is to pose so it makes me mad that she is trying to tell the photographer how to do his job. Her image is his creation. If she doesn't like it, maybe she should stop modeling. I'm sure no one will miss her bologna-of-the-sea pictures.

The Search for Perfect White Dress

From tacky designs to the see-through fabric, this year's selection of summer dresses has been as sad as the rainy weather in my dreary state. Well, mission impossible no more! Whilst wasting time online, I found a nearly-acceptable dress! With soft sleeves, scoop neckline, and a perfect A-line, this dress is a steal at the sale price of $30 and is perfect for any shape. Although the fabric is not the best, it definitely beats the other selections at a comparable price.
Now that I found my dress, I can finally go outside and enjoy the...oh right, there is no sunshine! :/

My New Obsession

I'm not the type of person to obsess over celebrities. I'm also not the type of person who likes Twilight. But, when I saw "Riley" in an Eclipse trailer for the first time, I immediately fell in love.
Xavier Samuel....
He stood out because unlike other Twilight actors, he knows how to act (le gasp!). He's also unrealistically gorgeous and makes Australian accents sound hot.
I admit I haven't seen Eclipse yet (and I don't think I will). But thanks to Twilight exposing him, I decided to see his other movies. And I wasn't disappointed. Xavier makes any role look good. And in Newcastle, he was exposed in a different sort of way. The way which I really like good looking men to be exposed in ;)
Thoughts are always welcome. I know everyone agrees with me.
